"Beautiful trail but not suitable for old people or people who can't walk and climb very far. There are a lot of rocks but the trail is worth the views! Made it to the waterfalls!"
Ingrid Horvers
"Walked up from the trail starting 300 m down from the New Helvetia Hotel in Platres. It takes about 30 minutes. To me it was more as I regularly paused to look around. The landscape, trees, roots, stones, vegetation, are scenic and eery. Wear appropriate shoes and if in the summer do take water with you! It's not a hard walk but at times it's a bit challenging and turns a bit steep. And because it's very dry due to the drought, it's quickly slippery on the way down. I still would advise trousers although most people wear shorts due to possible snakes (vipers). Definitely worth it. Very appeasing."

"We did the 9km hike, first 3km ascent. Last 6km descent. Great views especially on the descent. We had overcast (see pictures) but with clear ski this should be a lot better. Tip: go to the trout farm restaurant!"
