Reviews Summary
This climbing facility offers impressive tall walls for lead climbing with a good variety of routes. While the bouldering area has been noted as somewhat strange in its route setting and potentially sharp holds, the overall atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented. The registration process and physical card requirement are minor inconveniences for some.
"It is amazing place. We came for a weekend to visit Prague, but as climbing addicted persons we tried this place. The highest walls are around 20m. The variety of routes are nice we saw routes between 3 and 8b+. Mostly you can do lead climbing, for top rope you have less possibilities. There is nice boulder area and a secret training "cave" as well. It is worth to go there in the end of your training which you find on the end of the boulder area and climb up on the ladder. During winter I suggest to bring a second layer of clothes because for us was a bit colder then we expected. As a foreigner, the registration was not very easy plus you have to buy a card which probably I won't use anymore, but luckily it was not expensive. The employee was very nice and friendly. All together I recommend to try this place"

"I’ll start with the pros: great huge lead wall, big airy space with lots of lights, not too many people, very nice dressing rooms and bathroom, nice bistro, and homely family atmosphere.
The biggest con is the boulder. The routesetting is a little bit puzzling a lot of holds are completely redundant and it gave an impression of not very well thought out route. We climbed routes from V0-V7 and the setting was quite consistently strange. A lot of the moves were quite reachy and relied on height rather then technique. Another aspect I didn’t like was that I cut myself on some holds. They had drill holes in the plastic and those were quite sharp! And some of the volumes had wooden chips sticking out. I understand that as a smaller gym they operate on a different budget then SmíchOFF or Kletterzentrum Innsbruck but some of the volumes need to be replaced for safety.
I would recommend coming here for lead climbing exclusively, the boulder still needs some work."

"Great climbing facility with one of largest walls in Czechia. The paths are pretty great with tremendous amounts of options. The only thing is the registration is a bit weird with requirement of having extra card that cannot be lost. Nothing like having a barcode in your mobile phone, really a physical card."
