The ride itself is fun and fast – but only if you’re lucky and no one in front of you is too slow. Unfortunately, we were slowed down by cautious riders several times. I recommend waiting a minute or two after the green light to avoid getting stuck behind someone.
The price of 90 CZK per ride is reasonable, especially if you buy a multi-ride ticket – definitely a smart way to save some money. However, the long waiting line is a major downside – we waited around 30 minutes in the sun, which wasn’t enjoyable. The same issue applied at the bar: another line, slow service, and overpriced food and drinks. Grilled items and draft beer were closer to tourist-zone prices than what you’d expect in a neighborhood like Prosek.
The biggest surprise (and disappointment) came when we realized this place is clearly geared toward foreign tourists. While waiting in line, we were surrounded by people from all over the world. Then we noticed a tour bus parked nearby – and another one arrived an hour later. It gave us a weird feeling, as if we didn’t belong there as Prague residents.
Overall: 3 out of 5. If you’re a tourist looking for a quick thrill, you’ll probably enjoy it. But if you’re a local looking for something more authentic or laid-back with a bit of adrenaline, this place might be a letdown."
