What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find Bobová dráha Prosek to be a fun and thrilling experience, especially for families and adrenaline seekers. The bobsled ride itself is a highlight, offering speed and control with scenic views. However, long waiting lines, particularly on weekends, and overpriced, mediocre food can detract from the overall enjoyment.
"We visited the Prosek bobsled track on a Sunday afternoon and had quite a mixed experience. At first glance, the place looks appealing – modern facilities, a nice view of Prague, and refreshing water mist at the start (though it can dirty your glasses, which is a downside). The ride itself is fun and fast – but only if you’re lucky and no one in front of you is too slow. Unfortunately, we were slowed down by cautious riders several times. I recommend waiting a minute or two after the green light to avoid getting stuck behind someone.
The price of 90 CZK per ride is reasonable, especially if you buy a multi-ride ticket – definitely a smart way to save some money. However, the long waiting line is a major downside – we waited around 30 minutes in the sun, which wasn’t enjoyable. The same issue applied at the bar: another line, slow service, and overpriced food and drinks. Grilled items and draft beer were closer to tourist-zone prices than what you’d expect in a neighborhood like Prosek.
The biggest surprise (and disappointment) came when we realized this place is clearly geared toward foreign tourists. While waiting in line, we were surrounded by people from all over the world. Then we noticed a tour bus parked nearby – and another one arrived an hour later. It gave us a weird feeling, as if we didn’t belong there as Prague residents.
Overall: 3 out of 5. If you’re a tourist looking for a quick thrill, you’ll probably enjoy it. But if you’re a local looking for something more authentic or laid-back with a bit of adrenaline, this place might be a letdown."

"Fun and thrilling experience for all ages!
Bobová Dráha is a great spot for a quick adrenaline rush in Prague. The ride is fast, fun, and you can control the speed yourself — which makes it perfect for both kids and adults. The staff are friendly, and the views from the top are a nice bonus.
Tip: Try it multiple times — it gets better with each ride! There’s also a small café on-site if you want to relax afterward.
Overall, a fun stop if you’re looking for something different from the usual city attractions."

"Tried a slider game for the first time and absolutely loved it! It was fun, cool, and great for all ages. We paid for 5 rounds and shared them between two people – totally worth it. Staff was so friendly and helpful in explaining and assisting throughout. Just be cautious if the speed is high, as it can get a bit intense. It’s a bit short, but overall, highly recommended for a good time"

The Bobová Dráha Experience
Beyond the main attraction, the facility aims to be a comprehensive entertainment spot. It includes a rope park for those seeking further adventure, a playground that keeps younger visitors entertained, and dining options. The location also boasts pleasant views of Prague, adding a scenic element to the experience. However, it's worth noting that while the views are nice, the food and drink quality and pricing have received mixed reviews, with some finding it overpriced and not particularly tasty.
Despite the fun factor, a recurring theme in reviews is the potential for long waiting times, particularly on busy days like Sunday afternoons. This can detract from the overall experience, leading some to advise visiting during weekdays or off-peak hours. The management of queues and the capacity of the ride are points of contention for some visitors, who feel it could be more efficient.
Navigating Prague's Bobsled Scene
When it comes to pricing, a single ride on the bobsled typically costs around 90 CZK. For those planning multiple runs, purchasing multi-ride tickets is a smart move, offering better value for money. Some visitors have noted prices around £10 for five turns, indicating a potential cost-saving benefit.
While the bobsled is the main draw, it's important to manage expectations regarding other amenities. The food and drink offerings have been described as overpriced and of mediocre quality by some patrons. Therefore, while the bobsled experience itself is highly recommended for a quick adrenaline rush, it might be advisable to plan your meals at different establishments for a more satisfying culinary experience.
