Guides like Mark are often commended for their humor and knowledge, making the experience memorable. While some note that tours are primarily in Czech, English options and audio guides are available, making it accessible to international visitors. The site is considered family-friendly and a fascinating escape from the everyday.

"My tour on Sunday (1pm) was in English. I was surprised by google reviews saying that the tours are conducted in Czech only (not true!) The English tour guide Mark was great and humorous. Worth a visit if you’re curious about these tunnels. It’s family friendly."

"We found the exit easier than the entrance, I don't know why. 😀 Put up a bigger sign.
The walks are every hour with a guide in Czech only. There are options for an audio guide via an app for popular languages or they give you a list of information about each gallery. Congratulations on that!

The Labyrinth under the Vegetable Market is Brno’s hidden subterranean gem, weaving nearly one kilometer of medieval and Baroque cellars some 6–8 m beneath the historic Zelný trh square. Descend the 212-step staircase into a mysterious maze of storage vaults, alchemists’ workshops, an old wine cellar and tavern, even replicas of a pillory and “fool’s cage” used centuries ago.

Guided year‑round tours, available in English, bring fascinating stories to life, from food preservation and medieval brewing to wartime shelters and odd punishments. The labyrinth’s atmospheric lighting and authentic artifacts make it a memorable and slightly mysterious stop. Ideal for history lovers, curious explorers, or anyone off the beaten path, this underground journey connects you with Brno’s living medieval soul—and it’s love at first underground step!"

"The Tour guide spoke almost exclusively Czech and to be fair, why should expect it to be different? The tunnels have been recently 'cleaned up' for tourist so everything looks rather clean and new. Most of what you see in the tunnels is 'set dressing' rather than actual authentic artifacts. For all this it's a fascinating Tour and if you read along with the translated presentation 'script' you will learn a little about the history of Brno....... and it gets you out of the heat on a hot day."
