Reviews Summary

The Czech Beer Museum in Prague offers a fun and informative experience, particularly praised for its beer tasting sessions in the historic cellars and the variety of beers available. While some visitors find the museum exhibits 'okay,' the overall consensus is that the tasting makes the visit worthwhile, providing a good introduction to Czech brewing history. Service can be a mixed bag, with some staff being exceptionally kind and passionate. Reddit+1

"The Biggest Beer Museum in Prague spans three floors and offers a truly unique experience. Tickets cost 360 CZK each, which includes three beers during your visit.

Upon entering, you’re welcomed with your first beer, accompanied by a detailed explanation about it. There’s also a small shop where you can buy beautiful beer-themed T-shirts with fun designs and slogans. Plus, you can bottle your own beer for an extra 190 CZK — each bottle is 500 ml, and you do everything yourself: fill the bottle, seal it, and design your own label. It’s a great and personal souvenir idea for your loved ones! 🍺

You then walk through the building following marked arrows, exploring a variety of informative exhibits about the history of beer, different brands, brewing methods, and more. All the information is also available in English.

At the end of the tour, you’ll reach the cellar, where you can enjoy your remaining two beers. Here, you fill your own glasses, which is also a cool experience! There’s a cozy seating area where you can relax and chat with friends (if you’re visiting with company 🙃).

The Beer Museum is located right in the city centre, and it’s open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM (Monday to Sunday).

The entire visit usually takes about 60–90 minutes, but you’re welcome to stay longer — no one will rush you out!"

"This is very good museum. It explains the the history of beers and how we grew up though history making beer. Great displays. Lovely tastings beers. Very well worth visiting."

"Very cool museum - if you are not too drunk from the first beer tasting you can read and learn about history of the beer, ways of brewing it and how it got the one of the most popular beverage of all times.
They give you 3 beer types - included in the ticket. You receive one before starting the tour, and two in the cellar at the end of the tour. And is not a tiny tasting - is a pint of smaller size (but for me big enough to get tipsy😂).
After finishing the tour you can also buy other types of beer from the counter. We got a green one for later.
Overall, the experience is worthy and if you are focused enough you leave with a lot of beer knowledge."
