As an added bonus, at the end of this tour, you get to climb the astronomical tower with spectacular panoramic views of the city! You can book a 45-minute tour the same day or earlier at the main office at the entrance of the building. A word of caution: the tour requires climbing quite a few narrow spiral staircases and vertical ladders so if you’re not in the best shape or have fear of heights, you may want to skip. Alternatively, you can see the library and then walk back down instead of climbing all the way to the top."

You get a good education of the research they did in the building and learn how they perfected their time and astronomy!

"Would recommend booking tickets in advance as we went in the morning and the first availability was for 12:30pm. It is a guided tour which talks you through the history. You cannot enter the library, you can only stand at the door and take a picture. You then make your way to the top of the tower for the viewpoint. Tour took around an hour from start to finish and began promptly."
