What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking scenery and the rewarding, albeit challenging, hiking experience in Obří důl. The glacial valley offers stunning views, making it a photographer's paradise. While the terrain is tough with steep climbs, many find it worth the effort, especially when compared to easier routes. The option to use the cable car provides flexibility for descent.
"Breathtaking route, both physically and visually.
It has some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen, every point you look is worth capturing in a picture or mentally.
The route itself it's quite tough, nothing impossible, but a lot of steep climbs and the terrain is not the most friendly, prepare your quads 😅.
I did in winter the easier route following the cable car, but this side is in my opinion, worth the extra effort.
You can also return by cable car straight from the top or in the middle station on your way back through the other side which is a plus (so you can see both sides of Sněžka)."

"A breathtaking route, both physically and mentally. Beautiful surroundings with a tough road to the top will stay in your memory for a long time. It is also nice how everyone treats Alpaca in the village near the place."
