What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Villa Stiassni for its architectural significance and beautifully preserved interiors, offering a genuine glimpse into 1930s Brno life. While the Czech-language tours can be a barrier for some, many report positive experiences with English-speaking guides or informative handouts. The grounds and nearby cafe also add to the overall pleasant visit.
"Amazing experience to visit this villa. The person at the reception was very kind and accommodating when we made reservations on the day for 8 people. The guide was also very friendly, we had a good flow walking throughout the building and we were given answers to all our extra questions. I definitely recommend this visit, definitely to those who are architecture admirers."

"The Villas are really interesting and highly recommend to visit especially if you are interested in architecture and interior design.
This one in particular was open on Mondays when the rest are closed.
Downside of this was the tour which is mandatory in order to enter in the house. The exhibition room was closed.
It was in Czech so felt completely segregated because the guide didn't speak any English at all for questions. Also I had been waiting for around 10min in order to enter in the house without apologies or sorry.
Also the tour finished early. Technically it was around 1 hour but it was a little bit more than an half. At the end we passed though rooms quickly practically without explanation.
Should show more respect for foreigners tourists as the place is not easy to reach.
Buy a ticket in advance or language barrier are not excuses for a bad service."

"From the first sight it’s usual everyday normal building. But if you explore more, you will see some genius details of its construction and landscape positioning of all the pieces of villa.
It’s not only house itself, it’s all inside this territory. Greenhouses, lecture building, pool, gardener’s house and garages are harmonically places in this territory to fulfill picture of villa.
Just experience it once and you may feel it."
