FIK DU SET?

"Fascinating experience. It is a profoundly interesting exhibition. Highly recommend to anyone visiting, and living in, Aarhus.

We visited here during our stay in Aarhus and were presently surprised as how fantastic this museum is. It’s only 10 minutes from the city via public transport and really reasonably priced. We spent a few hours here in awe of the detailed history of Ovartaci’s life and artistic works.

The artwork was incredibly profound and thought provoking. I came away astonished that I had not known of the history of Ovartaci and his art.

The staff at the museum were also great, very friendly and accommodating. I think everyone should support this important exhibition and the causes it represents."

Toby

"Quaint and intimate museum in the old school of journalism.

The story about Ovartaci and the psychiatric ward is both moving, scary, amazing and so much more. The museum contains lots of original artifacts from the hospital. Great displays.

A small garden with wildflowers and a small fountain lets you contemplate on what went on in the mind of Ovartaci.

Well-stocked museum shop where you can get a cup of coffee and ice cream - and rest in furniture taken from the old psychiatric hospital."
