The house stands today as it looked in the 1900s. In the intact old dyehouse you can see how Johan Petersen worked dyeing fabrics and yarn.
The stable boy's bedroom was a cold pleasure, the only warmth he got was from the animals in the stable. There were some square holes made in the wall, so the heat could come to him from the stable through them."
