"When I came to visit, my mother always had to do something with the employees ("do you want to go for a walk?", "you're going out to eat with the others", (we couldn't have fun in the living room, NO then) "you're going to go listen to music in the common room"). and the last morning when I was locked in with my husband, the assistant's reply was "you haven't been here for a while" "your children have arrived" (yes, the children live in Copenhagen. I had an hour's drive and by the way, the fathers were also with me, so: HER. children. What the hell does it matter to you how much I visit relatives? And when my daughter wanted to arrange and dress my mother for the coffin, she came back, "no, not like that, I'll do it now, so you go out and wait in the meantime". She could have asked if my daughter wanted to be with me if what she did wasn't good enough!!!!, (when is it not good enough, and for whom?)"

"The most amazing place to stay amidst all the sadness. Personally, I was at the hospice every day for 2 months with my grandfather, and in no time I felt so much at home when we were having fun around in pacifiers, the staff knew about my problems regarding school and driving test and we had the most amazing and memorable time with grandpa and the whole family together. It felt so safe and like one big family.
