"Frederikssund Viking village is a reconstruction of a longhouse and pit-houses (small houses with floors cut into the ground level). The pit-houses served the Vikings as workshops and, in some cases, temporary housing.
Spacious parking available
We visited in the second Saturday of October. There isn’t any events were going on, but it is a nice place to walk around in the woods by watching huts it’s like little Viking hamlet, having some interesting information about Viking history.
Attraction is the big auditorium which is constructed to depict Viking theatres 🎭 and the sea view around the Viking village.
I am pretty sure if there are any events it’s great to visit. Also you won’t regret by visiting here and you will get nice views.
Recommend to visit if you want to take a long walk around to enjoy Viking antiques and sea view together. Super and pleasant choice to have camping 🏕️ with nice fire and barbecue 🍖."
