"Just one boat around the lake. You can get one ride with the Copenhagen card. The boat goes right next to the castle and you can get great snapshots and videos. There are three boarding points and you can get on any one of them."

"After a long walk through the palace and grounds we decided to rest our feet with a short ferry ride back for town.
It’s a single fee regardless of whether you do the whole circuit or just part of it, as we did. Special thank you to the owners who let us ride for free after our card failed to work. Much to my embarrassment I only realised this later that night but it was typical of their warmth and care towards everyone who got on their boat. Their pride in this boat shone through during the short ride.
You can use this as a round trip of the lake, a one way ride to, or from the palace, or just as a way to see the palace from a different angle. However, if you’re after photos, ride in the morning when the sun is not directly behind the palace.
The ferry runs from 15th May - 15th September weekdays from 11AM to 5PM and Sundays from 1PM to 5PM.
And in the autumn holiday from noon to 4PM."
