"This is in a very popular area of Copenhagen and I think is a must see particularly to enjoy the views from the tower. It is one of Copenhagen’s oldest churches and goes back to approximately the 13th century. It was initially a Franciscan monastery intended as a house for the pool as well. As with most things this went through many reconstructions especially after fires. We loved the tower which apparently began construction in about 1520. It’s a nice climb and gives the reward of splendid views."
