"It’s a grand and magnificent church, especially the dome, which is both tall and spacious. Despite the crowds, it still manages to maintain a peaceful and serene atmosphere."

"Stunning building, but better to visit when it's less busy
Visited on Thursday, 31st July 2025, having been dropped off at the Kongens Nytorv square, we walked to Frederik's Church. Outside, it's a stunning-looking building, and the dome is so disproportionately large that it reminded me of St Paul's or St Peter's domes in London and Rome, but without the building under them. There was a queue to enter, which wasn't organised and was quite dangerous, especially as it was also the only way out. There were more entrance doors available on the other side. Once inside, the dome is spectacular, and you can see why it's so popular for weddings, but a bit like a lot of famous churches, it doesn't feel very holy or peaceful."
