"The whole area is very lovely, even in the fall and winter. My husband and I stopped here to take a walk while house hunting, so our visit may not be the typical experience. Most of the areas closer to the castle were closed off to foot traffic, but the rest of the grounds were open. Aside from the single small sign asking visitors to please stay off the grass, of course.
Further into the grounds, we found some signs directing to walking paths by the water. The views from these small paths are simply breathtaking, and completely worth wandering down.
We'll definitely come back for a more traditional visit!"

"Beautiful castle in the middle of nowhere. Probably not very famous but definitely worth a visit.
Something to note is that this castle is private property so be aware of it when visiting it. Be polite and respectful
