"An absolutely wonderful spa-hotel, with amazing service. We felt the main course was a bit small, and the waiter served us two extra portions (and more wine) with a smile. The 3 course dinner was really good, and the wine menu well balanced to all 3 courses.
The spa facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained.
Well worth a visit, and we will be back!"

The Spa is great, but still for the price people pay it could be way better. The rooms are not so spacious and quite warm in summer time. I would recommend the hotel to think about a solution, like a fan or something.
We had dinner and breakfast. The dinner was fine but the quantity not enough. Breakfast buffet was good but missing good coffee.
The views are great and the walk to the beach too. We went all the way to the light house to enjoy the sunset.
We came basically because we had a 2.000kr gift card and we paid the difference. 1.456kr on top. Which I think it is exaggerated for a night and the use of Spa. Dinner and breakfast. You get much more in any other hotel.
If I had to visit again it would be only for the spa experience. Saunas are great in general and saunaGus too.

"Location is beautiful but you physically have to drive - it isn't accessible. We found the rooms to be very poor for the price, they were very tiny for two people and very warm - for the price I was disappointed, we have stayed at chain hotels that have bigger rooms, beds and bathrooms for more than half the price. The breakfast and service were not satisfying either, the attention at Hotel Vejlefjord is clearly on the Spa with the hotel lacking in result. For example, we asked staff twice at breakfast for water and were unfortunately ignored. There is no aircon in the hotel rooms which doesn't help with the temperature (we stayed August/September). There are also no extractor fans in the bathroom, although the size of the bathroom means that it is essentially a small wet room with the shower always wetting every surface. You could not fit two people inside the bathroom. The location truly is beautiful but for the hotel itself - at the extraordinary price that is being charged - we wouldn't recommend."
