What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa Rincón is overwhelmingly praised as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, with its stunning white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush surroundings creating a true paradise. Visitors love the serene atmosphere and the unique experience of the freshwater Caño Frío river. However, some reviews mention issues with beach cleanliness and occasional sargassum seaweed, which can detract from the otherwise idyllic setting.
"Playa Rincón – A Hidden Paradise Worth Visiting!!!!
Playa Rincón is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. From the moment we started the drive there, we knew it was going to be special — the road itself is stunning, surrounded by lush nature and scenic views that set the mood for a perfect beach day in the amazing tropical weather.
The beach is absolutely breathtaking. The water is crystal clear, calm, and inviting — perfect for swimming or just floating and relaxing. The landscape feels untouched, giving it that hidden paradise vibe. We were lucky to visit on a sunny day and spent hours just soaking it all in.
Another thing that made the visit so memorable was the people. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the place. We truly had a great time, filled with laughter, sun, and pure peace.
The only suggestion I would make is to improve the cleanliness of the beach. With just a bit more attention to keeping it tidy, Playa Rincón could easily be one of the top beaches in the world.
Still, it’s an unforgettable spot — a must-visit for anyone traveling to the Dominican Republic.
Love it."

"Absolutely breathtaking. Between the crystal clear turquoise water and the horizon of mountains, it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is quite secluded(which is why it's so unspoiled and stunning), and the beach doesn't have much as far as food and drinks, so recommend bringing your own. This is the perfect place if you want to spend the day relaxing surrounded by the most stunning scenery. The water is perfect but in some areas a bit rocky. However, there is tonnes of soft sand under most of the water. 1000% recommend this beach it's a must see with your own eyes type of place."
