What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the lively atmosphere, authentic Latin music, and the opportunity to sample a wide variety of Dominican rums. It's a popular spot for dancing and experiencing local culture. However, some note that it can get very crowded and hot, and past reviews mention potential charges for seating.
"Good place with Latin music, very authentic but it can get very busy. The DJ stays on the same genre for too long they should change every 3/4 songs but we had a good time. It gets very tight and hot so take your portable fan if you have one"
David Hurtado
"This was a great place in the past. You could sit at the bar and drink a huge variety of great rums. Unfortunately this time we visited they were charging for seats. The bar was almost completely empty but they wanted (I think) $20 per person to occupy a table or a seat. We used to spend quite a bit of money here previously but sadly won't be doing that again until they make better business decisions that encourage patronage."
William Adams
"It has some relics and old artifacts for rum making in display, it is a small display but interesting. It seems to be more of a bar museum than a full museum itself. If you enjoy drinking it would be a nice place for you."
