"Some 20 min walk from the SD tourist zone of Zona Colonial will take you to this National Palace. It was built in the middle of 20 c under dictator Trujillo in a neoclassical style housing the National Parliament and President's office.
However you cannot pass the gates, nor tour the building which makes it only a 5 min stop for some outside pics, so decide yourself if it's worth that walk."
