I spent many hours sitting on the benches, people watching, and talking to the locals. Do watch where you sit. Everyone loves the pigeons. They are a famous feature of the park. But. They roost up in the trees, and for every pigeon on the ground there is another in the trees, about to drop some poo on the ground, bench, or unsuspecting person."
