"This is not just accomodation, you will have access to 6kms of trails which go up into the cloud forest, and a very healthy and delicious breakfast each morning with fresh fruit and juice.
The accomodation is spacious and includes a kitchen and bathroom. And a hammock on the balcony! All spotlessly clean, surrounded by plants, flowers and birds.Even hummingbirds!
The owners are super helpful, and can organise transport if needed.
The town is at the bottom of the driveway so v convenient but not too close.
I recommend this property, and loved the walks into the cloud forest."

The birding around the hacienda was good and although I didn't spend a lot of time on the trails, they were nice. I really liked that it was an easy 6 minute walk into town. Friendly service and an excellent breakfast. Overall great place to stay in Mindo."

"We were advised to go hike the trails here, so we walked up their long driveway (told they watch you all the way up). By the time I got to their place I was feeling very ill, and we asked if we could just sit for a bit. We were charged $3 each to sit on a hard bench for a very short time because there were so many bugs, I had hundreds of bites that took weeks to heal. By the time we walked to the bottom of the hill I was so so very sick. Of all the places I went in Ecuador, this was the least hospitable of all..."
