Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Abu Galum and the Blue Lagoon for their breathtaking natural beauty, exceptional snorkeling, and serene, 'deserted island' atmosphere. The vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life are consistently highlighted as major draws. While the remoteness contributes to its charm, it also means limited amenities and high prices for essentials, making pre-planning and packing crucial.
"The place is one of the most beautiful and amazing places for diving and snorkeling in the whole world 🌎
It's recommended to book all the activities beforehand to avoid being scammed by regular drivers and pick ups on the road. Also have your beach shoes, goggles with you.
You'll have the best snorkeling 🤿 experience ever, with a variety of fauna and coral reefs are breathtaking.
You have to bring all your snacks and water with you because everything is insanely overpriced as there are no supermarkets. For example you can pay 50EGP for a bottle of water."

"Lovely deserted island feelgood spot with lots of small wooden accomodation cabins, simple and mellow vibes, great snorkeling and just a general feeling of being away from it all. Hike or take a boat (100LE) from the blue hole to get there. Stay the night if you have the chance and star gaze and just have a deserted island feelgood night"

"Always a favorite of mine, the nature is perfect between the mountains and the sea, and the reef for snorkeling is amazing.
I'd recommend staying a night there under the starz and its not expensive but not that services are minimum if you are looking for anything luxurious i wouldn't recommend
Also recommend taking a hike from blue hole, so worth it"
