What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Abu Tig Marina is widely praised for its luxurious atmosphere, beautiful waterfront views, and upscale dining options, offering a sophisticated experience distinct from other parts of Egypt. While some find it expensive and perhaps a bit quiet for those seeking constant buzz, its elegance and scenic beauty make it a must-visit for a relaxed, high-end getaway.
"What can I say, for Egypt, it’s expensive and luxurious. Everything is very beautiful, and the service is on a higher level than 90% of hotels in Egypt. As I understand it, the idea was to attract Europeans. It’s a good place for a quiet, upscale family vacation - perfect when you’re there with your family and don’t need anyone or anything else. Life there doesn’t buzz or bustle; it’s quiet, peaceful… boring, in a word."

"Abu Tig Marina is a stylish, vibrant spot perfect for a relaxed stroll, a seaside meal, or a night out. With its scenic views, upscale restaurants, and laid-back vibe, it’s a must-visit in El Gouna. Whether you’re into yacht-watching, dining, or just soaking up the atmosphere, the marina offers a perfect mix of elegance and ease."

"A wooonderful location and spot to visit, even to hang out over there. Many cafes and restaurants. One of the best marina’s in Middle East. You will find amazing yachts parked and you can rent one if you wish. I tried and rented a small boat (not a yacht) and took a tour in the lagoon which I enjoyed very much and there are great villas homes and apartments. The disadvantage is the high prices of real estate, but Elgouna is a must visit, and you’ll feel that you’re somehow outside Egypt."
