The Al Qaed Ibrahim Mosque is celebrated as an iconic and historically significant landmark in Alexandria, praised for its beautiful architecture blending Mamluk and Ottoman styles, and its prominent, slender minaret. Visitors appreciate the spacious interior and the respectful atmosphere, especially during Ramadan. Some note that the ablution facilities could be improved.

"The mosque is one of the most iconic and historically significant mosques in Alexandria.

Situated in the heart of the city, the mosque was built in 1948 and named after Ibrahim Pasha, son of Muhammad Ali Pasha, to mark the 100th anniversary of Ibrahim Pasha’s death.

It features a tall, slender minaret that is visible from across the city center, and the façade and interior display a mix of Mamluk and Ottoman influences.

It surely is a symbol of Alexandria’s modern Islamic identity."

"Alhamdullilah, one of the very old and well-known mosque near my area and also one of the mosque that I will visit after my studies which is right near the university. The pictures were taken during yesterday when it was terawih and today during Zohor/Zuhur prayers. Very spacious inside and I made a friend with an Egyptian man who was very kind. Yes, the downside of this mosque is that thier ablution place is quite smelly since its near the toilet but overall this masjid is 100% the best I have ever been."
