"In case you cannot get into Balmoral castle Alatskivi castle in Estonia was built in the very same period and looks almost the same as the owner was "a fan" of Scotland. The castle is nicely renovated. It works as a museum, there are also questrooms and a restaurant. In addition to all that the castle has another museum dedicated to an Estonian composer Eduard Tubin who was born nearby. Alatskivi manor had lots of outbuildings and now they are used as shops, restaurants, wine shops and administrative buildings or dwelling houses. There are footpaths up and down the green hills and white bidges to get over the lakes."
