"Great place for families - workshops and activities (building your mini sailboat, axe throwing, bow, cute bunnies, fasans, sheeps, horses, crossword hunt etc)"

The effort put into recreating the Viking era is commendable. From archery to axe-throwing, you'll feel like a true Viking warrior.

"It's really an amazing place. We got there at about noon and although half of the parking lot was full, it didn't seem crowded at all. There's just so much space.
Our family's clear favourites were the animals. You can look at different birds, get close and pet some of the goats and sheep. And the rabbits have a whole huge pen (more like a village) to themselves. Our 5-year-old loved petting the rabbits so much that I think we honestly spent about 2 hours altogether of our visit in the rabbit pen.
We also baked viking style bread with a very knowledgeable lady who taught us how to do it exactly right and was so generous to explain my oldest son (who is a fan of cooking and baking) how to make the pastry.
The kids enjoyed all the games and trying on a chain mail. We got to shoot arrows and try throwing an axe. And the best part - all of these activities are included in the ticket price.
For extra charge they have an adventure track on four levels which looks really cool. Of course we had to try it out. The youngest (5) got to go on the lowest level while the older boys and I tried the second one as well. Tracks varied in difficulty and ended with a zip-line that was a good motivation for the kids to keep going on one or two of the more difficult parts.
You can also ride a horse (led by one of the very helpful staff) for an extra fee. I'm not really sure if there were other attractions as well for a charge since this was plenty to fill our entire day. We left close to 6pm which is also the closing time.
The local restaurant sustained us during the visit. They have interesting foods that are quite authentic (or at least seem so to a total ignorant like me) and sell some of the local beverages. Price range was also ok with the bigger meals varying between 8-10 euros."
