The Church has without doubt historic significance but some of the reviews here seem to be sponsored to exaggerate its unique beauty. I agree with a previous review that it would hardly be outstanding if it was in Europe. It didn't appear well kept during our visit (September 2025) and there are lots of touts around harassing visitors for payments (even when taking photos from the outside). All this did not allow for a peaceful and relaxed visit, not even to pray and contemplate. I certainly wouldn't mind a small donation after visiting such place to support its upkeep (as I believe many other visitors would do), but this experience drove us away."
