"Oddly enough, Coastal gun batteries were generally positioned to give a fantastic view. This is not only helpful for firing large explosive projectiles at hostile shipping, but also makes for fabulous spots to visit and take wonderful scenic photos.
Momi Battery is lovely, has a brilliant little museum with charts and photos and is generally a great place to visit."
