"This is the largest Hindu temple in the Pacific. Built between 1976 - 1986 on the site of a smaller 1926 temple, it reflects the legacy of the Indo-Fijian community, whose ancestors arrived in the late 19th century as indentured labourers for the sugarcane plantations. The temple is a traditional Dravidian architecture, vividly decorated with colourful carvings of Hindu deities."

"We did a quick visit while going to Nadi Airport. The temple is great with amazing colors to display. Please note that not all attire’s are welcome and girls are only allowed to wear saree, skirts etc. however good thing is they provide skirts which you can wrap around while visiting the temple and it doesn’t not cost you . The staff was friendly and I was happy to see presence of all Hindu gods there. Don’t forget to visit the restaurant next to temple if you like South Indian. We were not able to visit due to time constraints so cannot comment on food quality."
