Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall
I like to socialize and I like active places, Is it busy in December? Are there good times to go? Are there other swimming halls you recommend? I'm looking for a good pool for lap swimming, not ones with family activities. Thank you!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall for its beautiful historic architecture, authentic wood sauna, and affordable prices, offering a relaxing and traditional Finnish experience. Some find the 2-hour time limit restrictive and note minor issues with bathroom smells or the steam sauna's heat. The gender-separated sessions and optional naked swimming are key aspects of its unique charm.
"Would get 5 stars if the time would be 3 hours instead of 2. The wood traditional sauna on the 2nd floor is my favourite, you can get a good heat there! The bathrooms smells little moldy and the steam sauna as well, my sister loved the infrapuna light sauna, that you need to spend a longer time to feel the warm coming to your body. The best thing is to swim freely naked in a relaxing atmosphere. Upper level there is a possibility to order drinks and food but I d need the extra hour so that i would have had time to eat. Lovely architecture and old feeling in the building."

"Nice place in the city centre to relax your body by swimming or sauna. The price also very affordable.
Please check the schedule as there are separate days for men and women"

"A little difficult for me to find initially but a great place to swim and try the sauna. Came on a Monday so the second floor (with the wood sauna) wasn't open. Bring your own towels and toiletries!"
