"We stopped at the visitors center after walking down to the free viewing platform on the edge of the bay, about an east 600m walk. The visitors center is definitely worth going in just to see the architecture and the views. There is a lot of information on the birds that come to the area. There were guided tours going on when we visited but we did not take part.
We also ate in the cafe, just to have a coffee and a pieced of the cold apple pie. It was very good."

"Very informative exhibition of different varieties of birds that fly through the area during the four seasons. We looked through the gallery of pictures of different species of birds and then took a walk out to the bird watching tower. Didn’t really see much from the tower on the day we were there but I guess it’s one of those things that you’d need to be patient to sit and watch for hours perhaps. No admission cost to this place. Very helpful, friendly and informative staff."

"Bird watching tower (nice building, free entrance), 8 caravan parking lots (with electricity, but additional costs), toilets and multiple campfire sites. No focus on being a caravan service, hence not a lot of space, but worth a visit if you like bird watching or want a beautiful view over the sea."
