The market is seen as a central hub for daily life in Aix-en-Provence. Some note that it can get busy, especially on Saturdays, and that while staff are helpful, English proficiency may vary.

"Great market, super friendly vendors. It was busy on saturday but you can move around easily, and there's a lot of space."

Rotem Ben- David

"Nice carrefour store located in a central part of Aix. I shop here frequently and so far they have all the things I need.

They have a decent fruit and vegetables section which is nice and they have a wide verity of packed meat and fish. They don’t have a butcher section in this store, so you only have packed meat and fish.

The prices are nice, they also have occasional promos which is really good. The staff are nice, not so good with english but till help you to the best of their abilities if you need any help."

Oghenemarho Orukele

"Lovely place to visit and friendly people. Lots of variety in the market, and even more stalls around the town. At christmas, they also hold holiday markets around La Rotunde with themed attractions and stalls spread around"
