Reviews Summary

This mountain refuge offers delicious food, particularly BBQ, and stunning panoramic views from its sun terrace. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with certain staff members, contrasting with the friendly chef. Accommodations are basic with limited amenities like charging ports and water access.

"The majority of the staff are horrible, rude and unwelcoming. They snarled, ignored and accused myself and my friend of not paying (after we had paid €65 each for food and stay) - interactions with the male manager and the lady with the blonde hair are to be avoided at all costs… that’s if they even acknowledge your presence!! This was a trend noticed by others during our stay, as discussions with other hikers shared similar stories. The small blonde hair lady even barged past me through a door way while I was carrying my drinks, and muttered at me! When asking these members of staff for advice or asking questions about the facilities in French (e.g are the toilets open to use), staff blatantly ignored and laughed/mocked our French speaking ability.

The rooms also have 1 charging port for 8 people - which is rather insufficient. Potable water is only available downstairs, which cannot be accessed after dinner time, this was problematic as my friend has diabetes and when looking for a member of staff to help, no one was available… luckily I had spare water to share.
In the morning, mess was still left in the dining areas from the night before which we had to clean up ourselves. We did not purchase breakfast and made our own and the manager constantly gave us dirty looks and snarls like we were poor peasants who couldn’t afford to buy it!

However, the food was delicious and the female chef was amazing and friendly. The lady with shorter brown hair that was working was also very friendly and were the two shining stars in this location.
If you can, move onto another location than this place."
