Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Musée Maillol for its intimate setting in Aristide Maillol's restored villa and its beautiful Mediterranean surroundings. The collection of Maillol's sculptures, paintings, and early maquettes is appreciated, offering a personal glimpse into the artist's life and work. However, some guests note the museum's small size and potential accessibility issues for those with mobility challenges.
"Enjoyed seeing Maillol's home! And Mediterranean surroundings..hillside with grapes & olives."

"This is a secluded, small museum. It had a 'visiting' artist's work on display which was amazing! The permanent collection is all Maillol, so if you're not into that then it won't be a good experience. There are a couple of rooms set out as they were when Maillol lived there. Toilets are available outside, you need to ask for the key at reception."
Rachel Craftyshropshirelass
"Quite interesting, but not really a lot to see.
The biggest negative was that the site is NOT adapted for handicap people as it incorrectly states on the website so be aware! There is a level track at the rear of the house, but this would not be suitable for a wheelchair and you still have to climb up a few steps over rough ground to reach the entrance. To state that a site is accessible when it is NOT is contrary to the law! My partner has restricted mobility and found the many steep steps very challenging - if you are restricted to a wheelchair it's impossible!"
