All aboard to Normandy 🚢 We travelled onboard @brittanyferries new hybrid vessel, Guillaume de Normandie. A sustainable way to cross the Channel ⚓ Ad I stayed in the Commodore Cabin with sea views and a private balcony. The cabin had everything I needed, a comfy double bed, a private shower, and bathroom. Best of all? You can even bring your furry friends along for the adventure! @normandy_tour...

Reviews Summary

Port de Carteret is appreciated for its upgraded marina and exceptionally helpful staff, making it a pleasant stop despite the tidal considerations. Visitors enjoy the charming village and the vibrant local market, though the distance to facilities is a recurring point.

"Fantastic marina once you understand the tides. The upgrade is wonderful and when the new facilities block is complete it will be a 4 star marina. We encountered a problem with our yacht and had to stay for over a week. The staff were incredibly helpful assisting us with the logistics of having the boat lifted, accommodation, car hire etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will return"

"Toilets are a long way off
Then you need to walk to the ferry terminal to do do passaporta stuff, then back to register the boat at the office...but the village is nice and there others places to visit, the market is 1.4km away and is great. Closes at midday. Wednesday Saturday and Sunday, changes in seasons."
