The layout was well-lit and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to navigate. The staff were doing their thing, pleasant enough, and mildly helpful in that “I’m technically here” kind of way.
One notable drawback: the artifact descriptions were only in French. While the broader section summaries had English translations, the treasures themselves remained mysteriously untranslated. A few English captions could go a long way in opening the experience to a wider world."

"It is cheap and has AC so it is definitely a good choice in a summer afternoon. The permanent exposition is quite bland but the current ( August 2025) Napoleone IV exposition was interesting and talked about a lesser know (by me) historical tragic figure."
