Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Bayeux Saturday Market, calling it one of the best supermarkets they've encountered, particularly praising its vast wine selection and high-quality food. While some noted minor improvements could be made regarding vegetarian sections and staff availability during peak times, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

"Quiet possibly the best supermarket I've ever been to in France! Certainly the one with the largest wine selection (see video).
Good quality food with a huge range to choose from.
One point to improve on would be to have a clearly marked vegetation section. But from that, this store is amazing.
If traveling homeward towards Cherbourg this makes a great last stop to stock up before the ferry!
Thank you France again this year. I love you!"

"My wife has declared Le Clerc her favourite French supermarket. I am quite partial to it to. However, they refused to issue me a loyalty card as we live in the UK (for reference Super U did).

By that fact alone, I would likely try to do more of my shopping there. However, onto this store. It is vast. The parking system is excellent telling how many bays are available in a specific section.

The store itself is clean with a wide range of products along with satellite stores at between the entrances selling things like bikes, jewellery, clothing, dry cleaning and laundry etc.

We thought the quality and range of what we purchased was very good. Pity we could not take advantage of the various offers not having a shopping card!

Overall, we would be very happy to shop at a Le Clerc again and this one specifically. We did stop off at another one en route to a different venue. But, owing to the card issue, I would use Super U in preference (and did) owing to the shopping card. A missed opportunity."

"Airborne themed micro brewery. A fun venue with great local brewed beer near saint-eglise! Go here"
