I'm looking to take a small group from London to Paris during the May bank holiday but am getting a bit lost with the options. We're aiming to do it over 3 days. From what I have seen the route via Dieppe looks the nicest, though I can't quite figure out ferries and whether I…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While the Avenue Verte Oise section offers beautiful scenery and is praised for family-friendliness, navigation can be a significant challenge due to inconsistent signage, sometimes leading cyclists onto dangerous roads. Despite these issues, many find the experience rewarding once they are on well-maintained paths.
"When leaving the station, there is no direction indicated to reach St Paul by bike. The road markings and the greenway signs are erased or non-existent. If you follow the cycle paths, you end up on Route de Compiege or on the undeveloped road with trucks that starts in front of the prefecture. To find the greenway at random! I found myself with my bike on the RN31, very dangerous, vehicles speeding at 90 because at the intersection with the Route de Gisors interchange, nothing is indicated. There are some cycle paths in the Avelon industrial zone, but no signs to tell you where you are going! So on the RN31 I crossed dangerously to go through the Intermarche parking lot to reach the bottom of Goincourt, crossed the Avelon where, by chance, I came across the greenway towards St. Paul. There is certainly an easier way, but due to a lack of signs or markings, it's an obstacle course to get to the exit of the SNCF train station. It would be useful if our officials from department 60 worked to ensure the continuity of the greenway from the train station to St. Paul with signs like there are everywhere between St. Paul and Gournay. Obviously, neither the city of Beauvais nor Goincourt care about the safety of cyclists and don't care about ecology. Why not create a track from the train station to Goincourt directly, passing along the railway line?"
