"Great little museum, fantastic collections of marine paintings from the School of Berck painters on the first level, and an amazing archaeological 2nd level with artefacts from the Paleolithic to the Middle ages. Among them the most beautiful Merovingian era damascus work i have seen so far. All of this beautifully displayed with taste, and humour as contemporary sculptures from Artist Sophie Verger were mixed with the ancient artefacts, bringing a welcome touch of surprise and humour to the whole place.
