"Very distinctive Jesuit façade is what attracted me to this church. It's a listed national monument built early eighteenth century. But the history of this church, dedicated to Saint Maurice, dates back to the sixth century. Inside is spectacular with three naves and a stunning main apse. It's rather dark inside when it's not in use but still has enough characters and charms to make you want to take a slow exploration of its remarkable interior. Like a lot of churches in France, this is a listed national monument and it's normally left open in the morning for anyone to enter and pray. There's a small gift shop inside selling religious souvenirs. Another beautiful place of worship to visit and suitable for all ages and backgrounds. A charming and welcoming atmosphere."
