"I must admit I've never had the opportunity to see inside as it was closed when I visited here! However, its impressive baroque style architecture is what drew me to this gorgeous building. With its spectacular dome of highly decorative glazed tiled roof and baroque façades, it's unbelievably beautiful and I could only imagine the interior. This is also attached to the hospital of Saint Jacques with its classical façades style architecture. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see this beautiful chapel, be it just the outside façades. Absolutely worth A look and even better if you have the chance to explore inside. A well deserved listed historic monument of Besançon."

"This chapel, erected in the 18th century by the Besançon architect Nicolas Nicole, was attached to the Saint Jacques Hospital under the First Empire (1802). Magnificent with its recognizable dome, it is one of the most beautiful monuments in Besançon. Unfortunately, as with most churches, the doors are closed if you happen to pass by and want to take a look inside.
However, a visiting time and day are indicated on the entrance gate."
