"We paid for a return ticket at 13.50euros. fast moving smooth ride to the top, around 6 minutes. Walked on to Puy de Sancy in Massif Central, which is the highest peak. It rises to 1886 meters. It's a volcano which has been active for over 220,000 yrs.
The walk to Puy de Sancy is 1.7km from where you get off the cable car from Supper Besse and takes around 45 to 60 minutes. The views are amazing, even from when you get out the cable car.
Unfortunately the cable car windows are badly scratched and difficult to see out from."
