The water is warm and, especially since it slopes very gently, you're in water up to your buttocks, at least up to the line that marks the boundary of the supervised beach.
So, it's great with kids.
Laying your towel in the shade under the pine trees might seem like a good idea, but walking in them 😳 those pine needles is quite unpleasant.
On the other hand, I'm really upset about the trash on the sand. I found used tampons floating at the water's edge, cigarette butts, papers, bottle caps... in short, an open-air trash can. I didn't see any real trash cans, by the way...
Aware that tourism has something to do with it, I don't know if there's a cleaning service that comes to the beach..."

"This is the start of a stretch of beach approximately 5 km long, bordered by a belt of pine trees. The beach is relatively narrow, with fine sand and a very gentle slope. Ideal for children. There's shade under the pine trees and picnic tables. We always spent time here when it was too windy at the beach. A very nice spot."

A real negative point: the lake is beautiful and very large from a human perspective, but it's still a lake, it's not Not Lake Geneva or the sea, and yet, on this site, it's apparently normal to put motorboats there, with a small, ridiculous port that we passed on the way.
I wouldn't have had any problems if they were sailing boats or, at a pinch, 100% electric boats.
The problem is that there are bound to be a few oil-powered boats traveling further out on the lake.
You have to be prepared for the idea of swimming in this beautiful, clear water, but with traces and a slight smell of diesel.
Too bad... it's more comfortable for wealthy boaters, I imagine.
Luckily, we don't see many boats, we don't hear them much.
To stay on the positive side overall, in the summer the spot is great, it's good for the soul, and the landscape is very beautiful and soothing; you feel good on vacation there."
