Many find the atmosphere to be exceptionally quiet and serene, offering a peaceful escape. While some note it's a smaller church, its artistic and architectural beauty leaves a lasting impression.
"We enjoyed seeing the Church of Notre Dame within the Golden Triangle. Originally a Dominican Monastery (13th century) what you find now is a Romanesque and Baroque style church building mostly constructed during the 17th and 18th centuries.
The facade is elaborate Baroque taking after the Church of Gesu in Rome. Within there is a wide nave with barrel ceiling and vaults. Fine murals can bee seen behind the altar and side aisle chapels. There are also nice stained glass windows throughout."

"I recently had the opportunity to attend a mesmerizing piano recital at a charming French church, and the entire experience left an indelible impression on me. Not only did I have the pleasure of witnessing a stunning musical performance, but the acoustics of the church also played an integral role in enhancing the overall auditory experience.
Nestled in the heart of Bordeaux, the church exuded an aura of timelessness and elegance. Its stone exterior and intricate architectural details were a testament to its rich history. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the grandeur of the interior. The high vaulted ceilings, adorned with ornate paintings and delicate frescoes, created a sense of awe and reverence."
