What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Parc Floral de Bordeaux for its expansive natural beauty, diverse themed gardens, and tranquil atmosphere, offering a genuine escape from the city. It's a popular spot for picnics and dog walks, though some find navigation challenging due to a lack of clear maps.
"Nice shelter on different city names, nice small water streams to enjoy. Benches available for picnic lunches. Excellent weekend spot"

"Beautiful park with different areas. I went for a long walk with my dog in winter and it was great, but I can imagine that in summer it would be fantastic. I saw different birds. The only slight problem is that there aren't many maps, and when you find a map, nothing tells you where you are. And if you are map challenged like me you might spend more time in the park than initially planned. But other than that it's a great place."

"This place is actually really nice. There are no cars, except the security car which drives around slowly (not my favorite element). None the less it's a bird filled place with hidden forest trails and plenty of lovely places to rest and enjoy nature, swamps, wetlands and streams and mini forests. Definitely a sense of being out of the city. There's a flower garden and some interesting pagodas and little areas with different plants, and trees and structures from other parts of the world. I noticed redwood trees, and an old mosque type outdoor courtyard resembling Morrocco, a Japanese Garden and I saw a lot of european goldfinches and even a common fire crest which is a fairly rare bird. I even saw a deer and a wildboar. Lovely place. Only thing is you have to take the C to Gare, and then the 37 goes directly to the front entrance to the park at Bois de Bordeaux."
