Stage 18 Col de la Loze- where to get hotel/airbnb
Hi everyone - planning on staying in Moutiers as opposed to Courchevel. It seems hotels are less expensive in that area. Would that allow us minimal walk (ie under an hour) to get to the route? Also, planning to arrive the night before the race (Jul 23). Not sure if I should…
Family Day Out
Great for kids with amenities for a relaxed family experience.

Enjoy summer lake activities or winter ski access to 3 Valleys.
Swimming in Annecy and no car?
hey! i would like to go somewhere beautiful with mountains and lakes where I can swim. I will not have a car however. Is Annecy a good option? Where do you recommend I stay? Thanks!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bozel Lake is praised for its picturesque scenery and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a relaxing spot. However, a significant concern for visitors is the recurring issue of duck flea parasites, which can cause uncomfortable skin irritation and deter swimming for some.
"We live nearby and think Lac Bozel is so picturesque and a relaxing place to spend the day. But to swim with a VERY high risk of infection from the duck flea parasite….is just awful. We came once last week and were fine. We came yesterday and only waded in the shallow kids area, dried off excessively, used the showers there, and were still covered in irritation and itchy bumps! Sadly (or luckily) we won’t be going back. And last summer we had the same problem. It’s unbearable for small kids, who don’t understand and just want to splash and swim and play. :("
