What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking beauty of Calanque de Sugiton, describing the clear turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs as paradise-like. The hike, while requiring effort and proper footwear, is considered well worth the stunning reward. However, the mandatory reservation system and potential for crowds during peak season are significant considerations for planning a visit.
"This is a small beautiful calanque with a couple of nice beaches. It's very easy to get here from Marseille, 30-40 minutes walk from Luminy. Due to this fact it suffers from overtourisme, so the Marseille authorities introduced daily quotas in high season - 500 visitors per day.
Luckily when I visited this calanque, there were not many people because of the mistral. So I could enjoy it in peace and quiet."

"As a longtime traveler, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. The landscape and water were amazing, but it took a lot of effort to get there, and the area was crowded. Overall, I would recommend it, but be prepared to walk for an hour through uneven and inconvenient paths.
P.S. Make sure to wear proper shoes!"
