What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the breathtaking views into Spain from the summit and the scenic cable car ride as highlights. The accessible parking and the option of a short walk to a tranquil lake are also appreciated. However, the steep and challenging access road is a significant point of caution for drivers.
"Big parking area, no shades through. It was free of cost in Nov 2025"

"If your car has made it this far then it has done very well. The road to this point is very steep with many hairpin bends, if you get stuck behind a very slow vehicle your gearbox will get a workout. The view at the top into Spain is breathtaking."
Ewan Baxter
"Large car park - €8 for the day
We went up on the cable car and the seated ski lift and then an easy 10min walk to the lake. It cost €11 one way per person. (€13 for a return). If buying a cable car pass, our car park was included free.
We then walked back on the forest path. So glad that we didn’t try and walk up! That would have caused a divorce! Cable cars are well worth the money unless you love a long, steep hike!"
